Mykedox is the visionary founding counsel of the Office. He is currently the Associate Dean of the School of Law at Tarlac State University. He also serves as the Director of the University’s Legal Aid Center and works at the Office of the University Legal Counsel.
Attorney Mykedox started his own law office immediately after passing the bar. He engages in private practice of law for more than a decade specializing in property, family, civil, cybersecurity, and criminal litigation.
Attorney Mykedox holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Saint Louis University, with a major in Marketing. He completed his Juris Doctor degree from the same university in 2012 and passed the Philippine Bar Examination that same year.
Attorney Mykedox also holds a Master of Laws degree from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) and subsequently earned his Doctorate Degree in Civil Law from the University of the Santo Tomas Graduate School of Law, thus he is one of the few who is called a "Doctor of Law".
As a legal advocate, he has attended Leadership Training Programs at the United Nations General Headquarters in New York to enhance his knowledge and expertise on specialized topics. He subsequently pursued a post-doctoral degree in Strategic Management and Leadership from Philippine Christian University (PCU).
Dr. Mykedox also completed his Clinical Legal Education Program Specialized Course on Clinical Pedagogy conducted by the Legal Education Board and the Pepperdine Caruso School of Law of Pepperdine University, a research university in Los Angeles, California.
Attorney Mykedox is a faculty member at several universities in the Philippines, including Saint Louis University, Tarlac State University, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, the Unibersidad de Manila, and Tomas Claudio Colleges - College of Law. His areas of academic expertise include civil and procedural law, with specific courses in Civil Law, Legal Ethics, and Clinical Legal Education.
Furthermore, Attorney Mykedox serves as a Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) lecturer for local lawyers and an international speaker for foreign institutions. He delivers lectures on specialized law topics in the Philippines, Hong Kong, Thailand, India, and the United States.
He also performs other civic, military, and religious duties as he holds the position of Chairman of the People’s Law Enforcement Board of Moncada, Tarlac, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Tarlac Chapter for Gender and Development, an AFP Senior Officer Military Reserve (Major) assigned in 2nd JAGS (RES), and a District Chairperson of the Association of Roman Catholic Lawyers (ARC).
